How to ask questions
All questions have a Yes or No answer. The game evaluates each question automatically by comparing real data for the secret country — no human player judges the answer.

In solo mode and freeplay multiplayer, anyone can ask a question at any time. In Turns mode each player gets one question per turn.
Question text is displayed in the chosen language (🇫🇷 French, 🇬🇧 English, 🇪🇸 Spanish).
The 55 built-in questions
Questions are organised into 9 categories:
🌍 Geography & Location Continent, hemisphere, island nation, coastline, equator, tropics, peninsula…
🗺️ Borders & Neighbours Does the country border [another country]? Number of neighbours? Landlocked?
🌊 Oceans, Seas & Waterways Coastline on the Atlantic, Pacific, Mediterranean, Red Sea, Persian Gulf… Rivers (Nile, Amazon, Danube…). River delta.
🏔️ Physical Geography Mountains > 3,000 m, mountain ranges (Andes, Himalayas, Alps…), deserts (Sahara, Gobi…), active volcanoes, rainforests, savanna, tundra, large lake.
📜 History & Civilization Independence after a given year, Roman, Ottoman, Soviet, Austro-Hungarian Empire, Silk Road, colonised by a European country.
🗣️ Language & Culture Official language, majority religion, writing system, writing direction, language family, Wonders of the World.
👥 Demographics & Economy Population > X million, area > X km², smaller than France, GDP per capita, currency.
🏛️ Government & Membership Monarchy, federation, political system (parliamentary democracy, one-party state, theocracy…), EU, NATO, G20, OPEC, Commonwealth, UN Security Council, ASEAN, Arab League, African Union, BRICS, Schengen, MERCOSUR.
⛏️ Natural Resources Agricultural products (coffee, cotton, rice…), mineral resources (gold, copper, lithium…), energy (oil, gas, hydropower…), livestock, fishing, tourism.
Custom questions (admin only)
The session admin can add their own Yes/No questions in the waiting lobby. During the game these questions appear with a CUSTOM badge. The admin answers each custom question manually.
Strategies
- Start with continent: eliminates ~80% of countries
- Narrow down with population (> 50 million?) and area (> France?)
- International organisations (EU, NATO, G20, OPEC…) pinpoint a specific region
- Rivers and seas distinguish neighbouring countries that seem similar
- In Hard mode beware of false positives — confirm with multiple questions
