🆓 Is Geo Atlas free?
Yes, completely free and ad-free. No subscription, no in-app purchases.
👤 Do I need an account?
No. Solo play requires nothing at all. In multiplayer you just pick a nickname — no registration or email address required.
🌍 How many countries are in the game?
172 countries spanning all 7 continents. You can filter by continent (Europe, Africa, Asia, Americas, Oceania), by economic group (G20), or by islands.
❓ How many questions are available?
55 questions across 9 categories: geography, borders, oceans, physical geography, history, language & culture, demographics & economy, government & organisations, and natural resources.
📱 Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The interface is responsive and runs in your phone or tablet browser — no app to install.
🔄 What happens if I refresh the page?
In solo mode the game is lost (the secret country isn't stored server-side). In multiplayer your session is kept for 15 minutes: just reload and click the session code at the top to rejoin.
🎯 What is the difference between difficulty levels?

In Hard mode the map can display incorrect matching countries, making it less reliable.
✍️ What are custom questions?
In multiplayer, the session admin can add their own yes/no questions in the waiting lobby. During the game they appear with a CUSTOM badge and the admin answers each one manually.
🗺️ What is Country Hunt?
Country Hunt (GeoElimination) is a solo mode where a country hides behind progressive clues. Each clue revealed fades incompatible countries off the map. A new daily challenge is posted every midnight UTC. Access it from the home screen → 🗺️ Country Hunt.
💡 Are clues free?
In solo mode the 💡 Clue button reveals up to 5 progressive clues with no score penalty: continent, coastline, population, first letter of the capital, then the answer. In multiplayer the admin can reveal a hint that costs −10 pts for every player.
